Gail Johnston Designs

About Gail

My pottery originates out of a strong desire to create. I see the world and myself as created and hope that my work reflects a small part of the beauty of creation.

Experience

I began my training in the Fine Arts Program at California State University of Fresno.  I launched my career at a production studio in southern California where I worked as a potter and manager. In 1992, my family and I moved to West Lafayette, Indiana. For the past 25 years, I have been an art instructor at Morton Community Center. I have also taught at the Lafayette Art Museum, participated in juried art shows, throwing demonstrations, school and community projects and workshops. I served as President of the Potter’s Guild of Indiana for five years. I worked/partnered in the Greater Lafayette Area at Artist Own Shop for 16 years and Grateful Heart Gallery for 6 years.

I am searching for a rich and full life through serving my Creator, family, friends through my art
